Installation ADA Compliant Signs: Measure 60" up from the floor on the doorknob side. This will be the center point for the sign. It is recommended that the sign should be at least 3" away from the door. This ensures that a person reading it is far enough away from the door if it were to swing open. Note: This location is based on the federal ADA law. Check your state and local laws to see if you need to match a different standard. |
